Relationship with Coca-Cola

New business unit

In May 2007 Coca-Cola HBC Hungary Ltd. established a new business unit in order to provide its partners with complete vending machine services by serving the consumers directly and at a high level. The company purchased and integrated into its own organisation Yoppi Hungary Ltd., which previously operated coffee and snack vending machines. The vending machines are now owned by Coca-Cola HBC Hungary and the company performs the related operation and sales activities as well.

Thus the operation of cold and hot drink, as well as snack vending machines constitutes the vending (full-line vending) service of Coca-Cola HBC Hungary.

New brand name

The business unit was given the new brand name VENDIT in March 2008 so that we can communicate the establishment of the new, integrated service towards our consumers and partners. VENDIT is owned by our parent company, Coca-Cola Hellenic Group, which is under international trademark protection, expressly as a brand name for vending services.

By creating the separate brand name, the company expresses its commitment to sales through vending machines, which already has an important role in the company’s life. During the development and operation of the new business unit, we are using all the knowledge and experience that the organisation of Coca-Cola HBC Hungary Ltd. accumulated in the past decade. VENDIT operates as an organic part of the company, in unity with the other branches of the firm, whether it is the expansion of the product range, innovative solutions and services or market development.

VENDIT in the organisation of Coca-Cola HBC Hungary Ltd.

Coca-Cola HBC Hungary Ltd. is the Hungarian subsidiary of the Athens based Coca-Cola Hellenic Group, which operates in 29 countries. With its headquarters in Dunaharaszti, the company operates two bottling plants and ten regional distribution centres, where more than 1,400 people are employed. The company has so far spent over 100 billion forints to create and develop its Hungarian production capacity.

The company offers a wide product range of alcohol-free beverages, including carbonated soft drinks (Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola light, Coca-Cola zero, Fanta, Sprite, Lift, Kinley), natural mineral water (NaturAqua still, mild and sparkling), juices, nectars and juice drinks (Cappy, Cappy Ice Fruit), ice teas (Nestea, Nestea Vitao), sport drinks (Powerade) and the Burn energy drink. The company operates the VENDIT hot drink and snack vending machines, too.

With its thousands of installed vending machines, VENDIT is the market leader. When we established and developed the new business unit, we used 15 years of knowledge and experience we obtained in the operation of cold drink vending machines. With the operation of hot drink and snack vending machines, our goal is to satisfy our partners’ and consumers’ needs at a high level and provide them with refreshing solutions for as many life situations as possible with our products and services.
